I’ve been on one mission trip before to the DR. When I was there, I felt that God was calling me to step out of my comfort zone and minister to those who are searching for hope during times of war, famine, disease, etc. I’ve always lived a very privileged life; to live a week without all those things, dependent on ministering to others, made me realize that I’m solely dependent on God. My identity should lie in him, and I would love to share that with the people of El Salvador.
