Church History
Uganda is a country that allows freedom of worship, because of this freedom there are many prosperity preaching churches and many cults. As a member and a servant at Calvary Chapel Kampala a church that is committed to teach the whole Bible, we had a conviction to start Calvary Chapel Mukono. Mukono is a town that is known for witchcraft practices, murders, and child sacrifices. In the year 2015 me and my family made a hard decision to move to Mukono and that is when Calvary Chapel Mukono was started as a home fellowship in our small rental house. As it grew, we began Sunday services. As Calvary Chapel Mukono, we have a very good Sunday kids’ program, and our emphasis is to see children grow in the knowledge of Christ. Currently as Calvary Chapel Mukono we are believing God for provision to enable us to build a church toilet, church shelter, Sunday school building and storage on the land that we acquired by the grace of God.
