Church History
Calvary Busega is a community-based Church committed to loving our community, discipleship, and teaching the whole counsel of God. The Church started in October 2013. Busega is a stronghold of Catholicism and Islam. When we first came to Busega, while out on a prayer walk through the area, we felt its spiritual dryness. That night the Lord spoke to us through Psalms 107:33-38, “He turns rivers into a wilderness, And the water springs into dry ground; A fruitful land into barrenness, For the wickedness of those who dwell in it. He turns a wilderness into pools of water, And dry land into water springs. There He makes the hungry dwell . . .”
We have a kindergarten, which is reaching the community both with early childhood development and spiritual growth. We have integrated our curriculum with Christian education to make sure these children get know the love of God through Christ Jesus at a tender age.
