Their Story
I grew up with street kids, and in November 2001, while wondering on the streets of Kampala, I heard the voice of the Lord calling me. He called three time and the third time I answered, “Here I am Lord.” He told me to go back where I was coming from and that He will be with me. That was the beginning of my salvation journey.
In August of 2004, I joined the Calvary Chapel Bible College. After graduating, I served in various ministries, such as missions and ushering among others. I met Angella and we got married in 2010. By that time, I was serving as the church facility manager. I was ordained as a pastor April 2011 and served as Luganda pastor until 2012. In 2013 God led us to plant Calvary Chapel Busega (a suburb of Kampala city) about 15 kilometers from the main center. At Calvary Chapel Busega we have seen the love of God penetrate hearts and change the lives of a number of youth from drug abuse. Children who started with us in Sunday school are now committed to knowing, loving and serving the Lord.
