Their Story
Eder & Karla Rivas met at Patmos Discipleship program based in El Salvador for Latin America. They started serving together as staff members and then got involved with the missions ministry, overseeing the local missions from their church La Capilla, helping pastors to plant 4 different missions satellites in 3 years and connecting the home church with a total of 12 satellite churches.
After getting married they prayed about full time ministry and church planting. They started visiting Calvary El Sunzal, a very poor comunity near the coast. After visiting for a year, they fell in love with the people and the comunity and moved to start a full time ministry in February of 2022.
For the last couple of months, they have been reaching out to and discipling families in need, helping them to build some small houses, working with the young adults group and going on house visits.

We are praying to start a new young women's ministry so we can reach the underage mothers and provide care for them.

We are praying to prepare the next generation of leaders in our church, encouraging them to finish high shcool and dream about going to college so they can brake the pattern of dropping school.

We praise the Lord for Jesus and Estela who were saved, baptized and got married in the last month. (They have a 2 year old baby named Jesus Jr.)
