Church History
In 1980, Marco Guerrero traveled from Mexico City to Mérida as a dedicated missionary, eager to serve and spread his faith. During this period, he visited several cities across the Yucatán Peninsula, including the lively community of Chocholá.
Nearly three decades later, in 1985, Marco felt a calling to return to Chocholá with a mission to establish a lasting community of believers. Over the years, his vision took root, and when the pandemic struck in 2020, he and his fellow believers seized the opportunity to formalize their efforts. This led to the establishment of Calvary Chocholá, a thriving fellowship that has become a cornerstone of faith and community in the region.
