Church History
In 2020, we moved upcountry with a heart to share the Word of God through women's Bible studies and house village Bible studies. Sensing a call to a deeper presence in the community, we launched Calvary Chapel Mpigi on April 4, 2021, with the aim of fulfilling the Great Commission.
Our ministry began with Children's Christmas Outreach celebrations, where we distributed clothes and food and shared the Gospel with the community. Since then, we have grown to include a youth development program through a community based organization that supports children's wholistic development — including educational assistance for those in need — regular Bible study fellowships, monthly prison ministry at the town's prison, and daily prayer meetings.
Our vision is to be a growing family of disciples of Jesus Christ, filled with God's love and grounded in His Word.
