Their Story

Before we encountered the grace of Jesus, my wife Yani and I had experienced the pain of divorce. However, in 1999, the Lord showered His mercy on us, and after three long years of being apart, we found ourselves miraculously reconciled. It was a divine intervention, with God working in our hearts separately, to ultimately unitr us again, as the Scripture so beautifully declares, "what God has joined together, let no man separate."

As transformed individuals in Christ, we embarked on a journey of a redeemed marriage. In the year 2000, we dedicated ourselves to serving the Lord at Calvary Chapel Merida. By 2008, under the guidance of our pastor, Roberto Aguayo, we were blessed with the opportunity to serve as educators at Centro Educativo Calvary, a Christ-centered school.

It was during our time as educators at this Christian school that a profound passion ignited within both my wife and me. In 2020, amidst the challenges posed by the COVID pandemic, God revealed a unique calling to us, leading us to the shores of Colombia, specifically to the island of Tierra Bomba and the historic city of Cartagena. There, we established CCA (Calvary Christian Acadamy) Tierra Bomba and, a year later, birthed CCA Cartagena.

Presently, we are also actively engaged in equipping missionaries in Tunja, Colombia, with the aim of launching another Christ-centered educational institution. The primary focus my wife and I share is to impart our knowledge and experience in the establishment of schools deeply rooted in Christ's teachings.
