Their Story
I accepted the Lord as my Savior when I was 20 years old. A pastor had been witnessing to me for a long time, but it really became real shortly after my father died and the pastor was talking about those who die in Christ. I was living in my home district of Soroti and began serving in the church. Over the years, I served as a worship leader, youth leader, and outreach leader. A missionary friend felt the call to move to Kitgum in Northern Uganda and invited me to join him. I resisted this calling, but in the end, the Lord’s will had to be done. My wife and I have 5 children and continue to live in Kitgum, where I pastor Calvary Chapel Kitgum. My call is to be an encourager through God’s Word.
