My name is Chuy Bustamante, and I currently serve as Associate Pastor at Calvary Chapel Mérida Centro in Mexico.

God has called me to serve His church through the clear and faithful teaching of His Word, both in Mérida and in nearby Mayan communities like Tabi and Hocaba, where we support local missions. In addition to teaching, I also oversee our church’s worship ministry and media outreach, using music and creativity to glorify Christ and build up His people. With a heart for discipleship, worship, and the local church, my wife and I are committed to equipping the saints and reaching the unreached through the power of the Gospel.

I grew up spiritually at Semilla de Mostaza Mexico City, where I recorded original worship songs and studied at the Calvary Chapel Bible Institute. I’ve also had the privilege of serving as a teacher of Theology, Hermeneutics, and Expository Preaching at the School of Ministry at Horizonte Querétaro, training leaders and future pastors across Mexico.
